Arizona Homeless Services Organizations
Federal Government or State of Arizona agencies do not provide grants directly to individuals who are looking to benefit from Arizona housing options. But each year, United States Department of Housing and Urban Development does provide grants to governments, nonprofits, and other eligible grantees who administer various housing and community development programs including services for homeless persons. There are many non-profits, charities, community action agencies that provide homeless services to Arizona residents in need for shelter. As funds are available, those Arizona homeless service organizations may offer motel vouchers, rent, utilities and utility deposits for homelessness prevention, and food referral services.
