Homeless Help in Colorado

Federal Government or State of Colorado agencies do not provide grants directly to individuals who are looking to benefit from Colorado housing options.

But each year, the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development does provide grants to governments, nonprofits, and other eligible grantees who administer various housing and community development programs including services for homeless persons.

There are many non-profits, charities, community action agencies that provide homeless services to Colorado residents in need of shelter. As funds are available, those Colorado homeless service organizations may offer motel vouchers, rent, utilities and utility deposits for homelessness prevention, and food referral services.
